With yesterdays 100 mile ride, I hit 1500 miles on the little Ninja. The bike has performed flawlessly so far and I couldn't be more pleased with it. No, its not the fastest bike around, but it's fast enough for the type of riding I do (twisties!) and it handles really well.

For right around $4000, you can't really beat these bikes. Instead of spending $10,000 on a high tech 600cc sport bike, I was able to spend less than half that on the 250R and then picked up a 2009 Yamaha WR250X for a second bike. You really can't beat having two bikes in the garage!

I'll be doing my second oil change on the 250R here shortly and might do a quick writeup on that.
