TOP 5 FAVORITE MODS…
Picking out my 5 Favorite Mods is almost impossible! All 50 Mods (approximately) are great, and necessary from my standpoint. However, these are my 5 Favorite Mods:
1. Garmin Montana 750i GPS and Handle Bar Mount. Absolutely a must for me! I ride on hundreds of miles of unmarked fire roads and trails. However, the GPS has all of the fire roads and trails listed. I know where I am going, where I have been, and my way back because of the GPS. I wouldn’t take exploratory rides without it. Plus, if I break down or get hurt 20, 30, or 50 miles or more out in the wilderness where I ride, I can just push the SOS Button on my Garmin Montana 750i GPS, and Search and Rescue will come for me.
2. Rekluse Radius CX Auto Clutch Kit. I’m 66 1/2 years old, and wouldn’t ride without it! I probably would have the Rekluse Radius CX Auto Clutch no matter what age I was. And, I am having a Rekluse Radius CX Auto Clutch installed on my son’s bike next month when it goes in the shop…PacMoto in Eureka…Pacific Motor Sports…Salesman Andy…the best customer service I have ever experienced! And, the best mechanic work (Justin) done on my bike(s) as well!
3. IMS 3 Gallon Gas Tank. So far, every one of my rides has been 85 to 105 miles, and there are no gas stations on the way (just at the start of the ride, and at the end of the ride). I always have to pump approximately 2 gallons of gas in my tank after my ride(s). So, with the stock 2 gallon gas tank I would always worry about running out of gas, and/or end up running out of gas. And/or carry extra fuel. No thanks!
4. Michelin Ultra Heavy Duty Tubes and Rim Locks. I hate getting flat tires!
5. Seat Concepts Comfort XL Seat. My butt and back get very sore after riding 3, 4, and 5 hours. I can’t imagine riding on the stock seat!
