We’ve had our Grom for about 2 months now and already have almost 1000 miles on it. Just the other day I managed a 160 mile day on the thing, and was all smiles the whole time. It’s not very fast, but going 45mph on this thing has the feel of 75 mph, making it a total hoot on some of the twisty roads around our shop.

I can’t help but recommend one to anybody looking for something to blast around the back roads on. It would also make for a fun and economical commuter bike.

Here’s a list of what we’ve done to the bike so far…
Yoshimura Race RS-9 Carbon Fiber Full Exhaust System
Yoshimura Rear Fender Eliminator Kit
Hot Bodies Racing Front Headlight Fairing
Hot Bodies Racing Front LED Flashers/Turn Signals, Smoke
12oClockLabs Fixed Rate Flasher Relay
Two Inch Bar End Mirror
Pro Taper Pillow Top Lite Grips
G2 Tamer Throttle Tube
Zeta Racing Pivot Brake Lever

We’ve got more mods planned, including a Zeta Racing Pivot Clutch Lever, Galfer Brake Lines/Pads, some sort of graphics kit, and we’re going to try out the Hotbodies Racing Rear Fender Eliminator as well.

You can get all the details on our Grom Project Bike Page.
