Shortly after getting my CRF250L, I experienced the first casualty to my bike, its clutch lever. It happened while I was out in the middle of the desert, far away from civilization and any help. Luckily, the clutch lever bent into a U shape and did not break off. After returning home from my otherwise awesome outdoor adventure, I decided it was time to buy a set of quality hand guards. Not only would they prevent my controls from being damaged in the future, they would also protect my hands from wind and crashes. I decided on a set of Zeta hand guards and ordered them from Brett at SRmoto.com. Customer service was great as always and less than a week later my hand guards arrived.

Install went smoothly, the included instructions provided me with everything I needed to know. It’s been about a month since I have installed the new hand guards. The first thing I noticed is that my hands no longer freeze as easily while traveling at high speeds. This is a big confidence booster when riding in a cold environment, you do not want your hands to get cramped up from the cold. I would buy the hand guards again just for this reason alone. I have dropped the bike about 5 times since install, the hand guards have not budged. Most of these falls were in low speed technical type of conditions, however one happened at about 20 mph and the bars did their job, protected my hands and levers. I have no complaints!
