Shortly after buying my CRF250L, I had one major complaint about the bike – its uncomfortable seat! It’s terribly stiff, a little too red for my blood (sorry Honda), and it’s built-in strap seemingly only objective was to wear my rear raw. Almost immediately, I set out on a quest to find the perfect seat, my first must-have modification for the bike. After repeated hours of searching the internet, one brand always came highly recommended in every seat related search I could find, Seat Concepts. I bit the bullet, placed my order, and less than a week later my seat arrived.

I ordered the Gripper/Carbon style seat. The top portion of the seat is the gripper portion; it keeps you firmly planted on the seat – no sliding around here. The side of the seat is Carbon, and like the name suggests it has a weave like you would find in Carbon Fiber. The quality of the material is first rate and cleans very easily. My first impression after taking a ride with the seat for the first time…. AWESOME! Gone was the sore bottom, the gripper material kept me in control, and it looks amazing. The black seat perfectly blends in with the black gas tank, a much better look for the bike in my opinion. Since having the seat I’ve never had a complaint about my butt being sore, in fact it’s helped me to take longer excursions on my little CRF250L. Highly Recommended!
